The Delicious Carb Diet ~Blog Post #4~ April 17, 2015

Considering the fact that most Polish people have generally healthy meals, there are only a few health complications. The first one is that they never stop eating. When they are not eating, they are snacking, having soup, or having appetizers. The second reason is that their food is full of carbs; especially because almost every meal contains potatoes or bread. Despite all the carb filled food, they do eat healthy foods as well. Because every meal contains meat and vegetables, this usually makes the meal generally healthier. Polish people tend to bake or grill foods rather than frying foods. One of the most popular sides is a cucumber salad. And one of the most popular soups are tomato soup.

Polish people always have a protein filled diet. Compared to the American diet, which is full of taking pills, starving yourself, and working out all the time, the Polish diet is different. The polish diet is a more natural approach. The polish diet is eating lighter, healthier meals, exercising the right amount. The polish diet also contains no pills, injections, or anything like that.
Some of the more unhealthy polish foods are anything containing potatoes or a lot of dough. This would include potato pancakes, pierogie, dumplings, and paczki. Pierogis are basically dough filled with different ingredients. These ingredients can range from cheese, potatoes, mushrooms, etc. And the famous paczkis are filled with fruit fillings, chocolate, custard, and more.

Personally, I love Polish cuisine even though it is full of carbs. It is some of the best food I have ever tasted, and I never get sick of Polish dinners at Kevin’s house. My favorite meal is pork chops and dumplings or potato soup. I think as long as you don’t indulge on the more carb filled food, enjoy it all you want!

  1. I feel that this kind of diet would be very good for athletes and the ones who eat healthy to stay fit.

  2. I agree with your opinion in the Polish diet being healthier. Researchers say that eating more small meals a day is healthier than eating three medium to large sized meals.
